Hi there. It’s been a while since we wrote here. As most of you might know now, we do a Swedish version of “Thunder Express” called “Dundertåget”. Right now we are in the middle of recording a new album with “Dundertåget” after touring hard for most of the year on the recent album. We have a couple of things coming up with “Thunder Express” later on, but we’ll report that when we get there!

“Dundertåget” have been nominated for a Swedish Grammy in the category “ROCK”. There are ten bands after the first nomination, after the next vote there will be five, so please feel free to vote for “Dundertåget” on this url: www.grammis.se

Dundertåget - Skaffa ny frisyr

You might have heard a song or two on Robert’s or Thunder Express MySpace profiles. We have even played a couple of songs live this last year. Well, right now Thunder Express is working on an album entirely in Swedish. For that album we are renaming the band “Dundertåget”, a rough Swedish translation of Thunder Express. This is something we’ve been wanting to do for a couple of years and we almost did it on “Republic Disgrace”, but it fell through in process of working on that album. Now it feels like the time is right though and we are really excited.

We won’t break up Thunder Express or stop writing in English. But we do want to give this Swedish album and “Dundertåget” everything we got right now. At this moment we are really close to finishing the album and are working hard in the studio. If you’d like to listen to a teaser you can visit www.myspace.com/dundertaget 

We will continue to report any news regarding Thunder Express here at the site, and of course answer your questions in the guestbook as usually. A Dundertåget webpage will be up later on as well. Now remember, this is not the end of Thunder Express, we won’t play in Scandinavia for a while though. You will have to see Dundertåget instead!
